46 million people across the globe are living in modern slavery

Nearly 46 million people across the globe are living in modern slavery, a system of exploitation that governments and businesses must do more to end, according to the Walk Free Foundation. The Australia-based rights group on Tuesday released its global slavery index, which tracks the number of people stuck in “situations of exploitation that a person cannot refuse or leave because of threats, violence, coercion, abuse of power or deception.” The instances include forced labor in farming, fishing and manufacturing, commercial sex work and forced marriage.

“Governments need to look more closely at illicit labor recruitment, crack down on the illegal companies that provide conduit in which people end up in slavery, and penalize the companies and individuals that are using bonded labor, either directly or in their supply chains,” the group said in a statement. “At the same time, it is important that we tackle the conditions that drive labor migration by creating opportunities within home countries.”

The survey, which was based on 42,000 interviews conducted in 25 countries, found that Asian countries were home to nearly 60 percent of the world’s modern slaves. India was the country with the highest number, 18.3 million, while North Korea had the highest proportion, with 4.3 percent of the population thought to be enslaved, the survey found.

The ultimate goal is to completely eliminate the entire job force in America

A Fired American is a Fire Ant

People are fired everyday. It is part of life. There will be some jobs that are not a great fit. Sometimes there is a financial stress of the company and the labor costs have to be lowered. At times, people are fired because there is someone better at the job. Even though being fired hurts, this form of firing is part of life.

But there is an epidemic of firing going on, and has been going on for years, that is killing this country. Companies, more than hundreds of American companies, are firing hundreds to thousands of American workers because the American can be replaced by a cheaper, less qualified, foreigner. The Americans are fired then the company hires two or three foreigners in another country to do the same job duties. The Americans have to train the foreigners of course. Sometimes, the companies use foreigners here in the United States to learn the job then train the foreigners outside the United States. The ultimate goal is to completely eliminate the entire job force in America. And that is what is happening right now.

Palin Endorses Paul Nehlen: Ryan’s ‘Political Career Is Over’

Sarah Palin will work to defeat House Speaker Paul Ryan by backing his primary opponent in Wisconsin, Paul Nehlen, the former Alaska governor told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Palin said in an interview that airs Sunday on “State of the Union” that her decision was sparked by Ryan’s bombshell announcement to Tapper last week that he wasn’t yet ready to support Donald Trump, the Republican presumptive nominee. Palin endorsed Trump back in January.

“I think Paul Ryan is soon to be ‘Cantored,’ as in Eric Cantor,” Palin said, referring to the former Republican House majority leader who was ousted in a shocking upset in 2014 when challenger Dave Brat ran to his right in a Virginia primary.

Earthquake Amnesty in Works for Illegal Aliens from Ecuador, DHS Quietly Grants “Migratory Relief” in Spanish

Word of a special earthquake amnesty for Ecuadorean nationals living in the United States illegally is spreading like wildfire in Spanish media reports published throughout Latin America recently. A catastrophic, magnitude 7.8 temblor struck the ailing South American nation’s pacific coast on April 16, killing hundreds and injuring thousands. Undoubtedly, it’s been devastating and worthy of the tremendous humanitarian aid being provided by the U.S. government as well as a multitude of charities.

However, the Ecuadorean nationals who stand to benefit from yet another one of President Obama’s disaster amnesty initiatives already lived in the U.S. illegally when the earthquake hit. Offering this perk is like rewarding bad—in this case illegal—behavior. We’ve already seen this occur many times in the last few years and Judicial Watch has documented it in a number of reports.

Kerry tells grads to prepare for ‘borderless world’

Secretary of State John Kerry took a shot at Donald Trump during his Friday commencement speech at Northeastern University, by saying no wall is big enough to keep dangerous terrorists out of the United States. Kerry also seemed to dismiss the importance of national borders, and said technology has reshaped the world into one that the U.S. must engage at the risk of being left behind. He said Trump and others who want to look inward are making a mistake, even in the face of rising tension and violence in the world.

“For some people, that is all they need simply to climb under the sheets, close their eyes and push the world away,” Kerry said. “And shockingly, we even see this attitude from some who think they ought to be entrusted with the job of managing international affairs.” “The future demands from us something more than a nostalgia for some rose-tinted version of the past that did not really exist in any case,” he said. “You’re about to graduate into a complex and borderless world.”
